Contribution Opportunities.
Blog Posts
Have an idea, lesson, or experience that could help other composers? Send us a short pitch or draft for review. Approved posts may be edited for clarity and published on the FERMATA blog with full credit to the contributor.
Resource Hub
Contribute practical resources composers can use in their everyday workflow — templates, score studies, recommended tools, mockup tips, writing systems, or educational material. Submit your resource along with a short explanation of how it helps composers improve.
Challenge Ideas
Submit structured challenge concepts that could become official FERMATA challenges. Please include:
• Challenge Title — A short, memorable name for the challenge
• Core Hook — The main creative idea or concept behind it
• The Brief (Prompt) — What composers are being asked to create
• Boundaries / Restrictions — Specific limitations or rules for the challenge
• Optional Bonus Objective — An extra creative goal participants can attempt
• Difficulty Level — Core (Basic), Build (Intermediate), or Push (Advanced).
• Category — Technical, Emotional, Creative, Production, or Experimental
• Skill Focus — The primary skill the challenge is designed to strengthen (i.e. Structure / Timing)
Selected submissions may be refined and developed into official FERMATA challenges.
